Fun, Easy, and Fast Volunteer and Community Service Hours

Help Activate Youth offers high school students, along with junior high, college-aged, and other young individuals, the chance to complete their community service or volunteer hour requirements while gaining valuable skills and experience. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we focus on providing meaningful opportunities for youth to make a positive impact, without promoting any specific political, religious, or other agenda.

Program Highlights:

  • Guaranteed Placement with Our 501(c)(3) Non-Profit:ย We guarantee that every participant will be placed with our 501(c)(3) organization to complete their volunteer hours. Our program ensures that each participant will have the opportunity to fulfill their required hours within a reasonable timeframeโ€”or the enrollment and administrative fees will be returned.
  • Remote Volunteer Opportunities: All tasks are completed remotely and are carefully matched to each participantโ€™s skills and interests. Whether you are interested in technology, STEM, law, medical, dental, journalism, media, sports, or other fields, we offer a range of opportunities. Each volunteer is supervised by a Help Activate Youth advisor to guide their progress.
  • Verified Volunteer Hours: Upon completing your hours, you will receive an official letter certifying your work, perfect for use in school, college applications, career development, or other purposes.

Broad Opportunities Beyond Technology:

Although technology and STEM are central to our program, we also offer participantsโ€”especially high school studentsโ€”volunteer opportunities in fields like law, journalism, media, and sports. This variety ensures that participants gain valuable experience and explore a wide range of interests.

Inclusive and Non-Agenda-Based:

Help Activate Youth is non-political, non-denominational, and fully inclusive. We welcome participants from all backgrounds and focus solely on helping youth advance in their lives and careers.

Program Costs and Accessibility:

The program includes a one-time enrollment fee and a monthly administrative fee to cover administrative costs. Fee waivers may be available for low-income families to ensure that everyone can participate.

These fees cover administrative costs, volunteer placement services, and other support provided by Help Activate Youth.
Fee waivers may be available based on financial need, subject to approval by Help Activate Youth.

Volunteer Placement
Help Activate Youth will attempt to place Volunteers in a suitable position either within the Organization or with another non-profit. Placement with other non-profits may require communication and coordination initiated by Help Activate Youth, but there may be no formal relationship between Help Activate Youth and such organizations.

Volunteer Obligations
Volunteers are expected to complete their assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner, abide by the rules and guidelines of the non-profit they are placed with, and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Volunteers will be responsible for logging and reporting their service hours as required by their educational institution and the Program.

Release of Liability
By participating in the Program, the Volunteer (or Legal Guardian, if the Volunteer is a minor) agrees to release, waive, and discharge Help Activate Youth, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action that may arise from participation in the Program, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, illness (including but not limited to COVID-19), or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

By accepting this Agreement, the Volunteer (or Legal Guardian) voluntarily assumes all such risks.

Medical Treatment
The Volunteer (or Legal Guardian, if applicable) hereby authorizes Help Activate Youth to seek emergency medical treatment for the Volunteer if necessary, and releases Help Activate Youth from any liability for medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment. Confidentiality
The Volunteer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or private information encountered during their volunteer activities, whether related to Help Activate Youth or any other non-profit organization they are placed with.
